I started putting together the first scenes of the animatic for my final year film.
I decided to do the animatic digitally, because I find it faster to work out the different moving elements and so on. First I used Photoshop, but then I jumped on the iPad and used Clip Studio Paint, which makes it really easy for me.
It's only the start, but I can already see that I will need to adjust the timing. Especially in the city scenes I want to have a build up of tension and really convey the feeling that everything is too much for the old lady and that she feels very estranged from her surrounding. But one step after another. The plan is to have the complete animatic ready by Monday 14th and then start refining timings etc.
